Terms and Conditions of Service

By using EVDRIVEHUB's vehicle and driver rental services through the company's service channels, including website, application, or social media, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services. EVDRIVEHUB (บริษัท รถเช่าไฟฟ้าหาดใหญ่ จำกัด, "the Company", "we", "us") reserves the right to amend these terms at any time without prior notice.
1. General Terms
1.1 Minimum Age Requirement
The minimum age for renting a vehicle with EVDRIVEHUB is 21 years old at the time of vehicle pickup. Renters must present valid proof of age upon collection of the vehicle. Renters under 25 years of age may be subject to a young-driver surcharge as determined by the company.
1.2 Valid Driver's License
All renters must hold a valid, unexpired driver's license throughout the entire rental period. The following documents are accepted:
(1) Thai driving license (car or motorcycle above 400 cc)
(2) International Driving Permit (IDP) — for foreign nationals
(3) Foreign driving license accompanied by a certified Thai translation
1.3 Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit is required at the time of vehicle pickup. The deposit amount varies by vehicle model, generally between 2,000 – 5,000 THB. The deposit will be refunded within 3–5 business days after vehicle return and satisfactory inspection, provided no damage or policy violations are found.
1.4 Identity Verification
The renter must present an original national ID card or passport (not a photocopy) at the time of vehicle pickup. EVDRIVEHUB reserves the right to decline service to any person who is unable to provide valid identification documents.
2. Rental Terms
2.1 Pickup and Return Location
Vehicles must be picked up and returned at the agreed location specified at the time of booking. A different return location may be arranged subject to an additional fee. Late returns beyond the scheduled time will incur additional charges at a rate of 200 THB per hour. Operating hours for pickup and return are Monday to Sunday, 08:00 – 20:00.
2.2 Vehicle Condition at Pickup and Return
The renter must inspect the vehicle together with an EVDRIVEHUB staff member before departure and document any pre-existing damage. The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as it was received, including cleanliness. EVDRIVEHUB reserves the right to charge additional cleaning fees if the vehicle is returned in an unacceptable condition.
2.3 Charging and Energy Policy
EVDRIVEHUB provides the vehicle with a full battery charge. The vehicle must be returned with a battery level of at least 20%. If the battery level falls below this threshold upon return, a charging fee will be applied. Charging at EVDRIVEHUB partner stations is provided free of charge; a map of partner stations will be provided at the time of pickup. External charging costs at non-partner stations are the renter's sole responsibility.
2.4 Prohibited Uses
The renter is strictly prohibited from the following:
(1) Sub-renting or transferring the vehicle to a third party without written consent from the company
(2) Driving under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or any impairing substance
(3) Off-road driving, circuit racing, or any form of motor sport
(4) Transporting goods or passengers for commercial purposes without prior written consent from the company
(5) Smoking inside the vehicle (a cleaning surcharge applies in the event of violation)
3. Cancellation Policy
EVDRIVEHUB understands that plans may change. The following cancellation policy applies to all bookings:
3.1 Cancellation Tiers
(1) More than 48 hours before pickup: Full refund — no cancellation fee
(2) 24 – 48 hours before pickup: 50% refund — 50% cancellation fee applies
(3) Less than 24 hours before pickup or no-show: No refund — full charge applies
3.2 How to Cancel a Booking
To cancel your booking, please contact us via LINE Official Account @ev.car or by telephone at 098-9159498. Cancellations made through unofficial channels may not be processed. Refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days from the date of the approved cancellation request.
3.3 Force Majeure
In the event of force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, government orders, or epidemics, EVDRIVEHUB reserves the right to cancel or reschedule bookings without liability. In such cases, the customer will be offered a full refund or the option to rebook at a mutually agreed date.
4. Liability
4.1 Renter's Responsibility
The renter is fully responsible for the vehicle and any damage, theft, or loss occurring during the rental period, except where caused by a pre-existing mechanical failure that the company can verify. The renter is also solely responsible for all traffic fines, toll fees, and any legal violations incurred during the rental period.
4.2 Insurance Coverage
All EVDRIVEHUB vehicles are covered by compulsory third-party liability insurance (พ.ร.บ.) and voluntary motor insurance (Type 1 or Type 2+). However, insurance coverage does not apply in the following circumstances:
(1) Damage caused while driving under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or any impairing substance
(2) Damage resulting from deliberate acts or gross negligence on the part of the renter
(3) Damage to or loss of personal belongings left inside the vehicle
(4) Damage caused by a driver other than the authorized renter named in the rental agreement
4.3 Limitation of EVDRIVEHUB's Liability
EVDRIVEHUB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the company's vehicles or services, including but not limited to loss of income, loss of business opportunities, travel expenses, or personal injury resulting from accidents caused by third parties. The maximum liability of EVDRIVEHUB to the renter shall in no event exceed the total rental fee paid by the renter for the relevant rental period.
4.4 Accident Reporting Procedure
In the event of an accident, the renter must proceed as follows:
(1) Ensure the safety of all parties involved and call emergency services if necessary (191 / 1669)
(2) Notify EVDRIVEHUB immediately via LINE Official Account or telephone
(3) Refrain from admitting fault or reaching any settlement with other parties without prior written authorization from EVDRIVEHUB
(4) Obtain a police report and document the accident scene with photographs as evidence
5. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms and Conditions, including any questions regarding their existence, validity, or termination, shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Thailand.
6. Amendments to These Terms
The company may amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, applicable law, or business practices. The company will notify users of material changes through the website or application. Continued use of EVDRIVEHUB's services after any amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Users are responsible for reviewing these terms periodically.
