Terms and conditions for renting electric vehicle car
1. Age and Driver’s License: The renter must be at least 18 years old and possess an international driver’s license or a valid driver’s license issued by the relevant government agency. Additionally, the renter agrees to allow the rental provider to take photographs or make copies of their national ID card, passport, or driver’s license as evidence.
2. The renter shall use the vehicle for tourism or for lawful business purposes only. The renter agrees not to:
Use the rented vehicle for commercial purposes
Use the rented vehicle for any illegal activities
Carry or possess any illegal items in the vehicle
Engage in any other activities that violate the laws of the state
In the event of any breach of the aforementioned terms, the renter shall be solely responsible for all damages incurred.3. The renter shall use the vehicle only within the areas designated by each branch. If the renter has a need to take the rented vehicle outside of the designated areas as detailed above, the renter must obtain written permission from the Lessor. Otherwise, it will be considered theft, and the renter agrees that the Lessor may immediately take legal action.
4. The renter shall use the vehicle only in the areas specified in the Agreement. If the renter breaches this condition and the Lessor is unable to contact the renter within 3 hours, the Lessor has the right to notify the authorities and take legal action against the renter immediately.
5. In the event that the renter breaches any of the terms and conditions set forth in Clauses 2, 3, and 4, resulting in the Lessor having to repossess the vehicle, the renter agrees to be responsible for all costs incurred by the Lessor in repossessing the vehicle.
6. The renter agrees not to sublet, transfer, or assign the rented vehicle to any other person for driving purposes.
7. In the event that the renter drives the rented vehicle in violation of traffic laws, such as exceeding the speed limit or disobeying traffic signs, and a ticket is issued to the Lessor company, the renter shall be responsible for paying the fine in the amount stated on the ticket.

The amount of the first-party excess is at the sole discretion of the rental company.
If the insurance company's assessment of the damage exceeds the coverage limit, the renter agrees to be responsible for the additional expenses not covered by the insurance company.8.2 In the event that the rented car is involved in an accident that renders it unusable or unable to be rented to other customers, the renter agrees to compensate the rental company for damages and downtime at a rate of 50,000 to 100,000 baht, depending on the extent of the damage.
8.3 In case of an accident, if the renter is not at fault, the renter will not be responsible for any damages. The renter must submit the insurance claim form of the other party to Electric Car Rental Hat Yai Co., Ltd.
8.4 SCDW stands for Super Collision Damage Waiver. It is a type of first-party insurance that covers damage to the rental car in the event of an accident, regardless of whether there is another party involved. Except for the loss of car keys, SCDW can be purchased for the following additional costs :
Vehicle Type : Intermediate Electric Car (5 Seats) Price per Day : 300 Baht with a maximum of 6,000 baht per rental contract.
(In the event of total damage to the vehicle, including damage to the electric car battery, the company reserves the right to claim damages from the renter at its discretion.)
9. Smoking, Pets, and Alcohol Policy:
Smoking is prohibited inside the rental car.
Pets are not allowed in the rental car.
A fine of 5,000 baht will be charged for any damage caused by smoking or pets.
The renter must not drive under the influence of alcohol.
The renter is fully responsible for any damage caused by driving under the influence of alcohol.
The rental company reserves the right to take legal action against the renter in any case.10. Prohibited Modifications and Subletting:
The renter is prohibited from modifying any equipment or parts of the vehicle.
The renter is prohibited from subletting, pawning, or selling the vehicle.
If the renter violates any of these prohibitions, the rental company will take legal action against the renter, both civil and criminal.
The rental company will also claim for any damages incurred in all cases.11. Tires:
If the tire leaks, the renter is responsible for having it repaired and returned to the rental company.
If the tire bursts, the renter is responsible for purchasing a new tire of the same brand and model for the rental company.The renter may be charged for the cost of repairing or replacing the tire if they do not do so before returning the car.
12. The Rental Company is Not Responsible for Lost Property:
The rental company is not responsible for any property that the renter leaves in the rental vehicle.The renter should carefully check the car for any personal belongings before returning it.
13. Security Deposit:
Under this contract, the rental company will refund the full security deposit to the renter when the renter returns the vehicle, provided that the renter has not breached the contract and there is no damage to the vehicle.On the other hand, if the renter breaches any of the aforementioned contract terms, the renter agrees that the rental company may immediately forfeit the security deposit and agrees to be sued for actual damages.
If the renter does not pay the fine in cases where the rental company is entitled to a fine, the rental company has the right to immediately deduct the fine from the security deposit.
Additional notes:
The rental company may inspect the car before returning the security deposit to the renter.
The rental company may charge the renter for any damage to the car, even if the damage is not covered by insurance.14. Termination of Contract:
If the renter breaches this contract or any of the rental company's rules and regulations, this rental contract will be terminated.The renter must return the vehicle to the rental company, or the rental company may immediately repossess the vehicle.
The renter agrees that the rental company may forfeit the security deposit and must compensate for all damages incurred.
Otherwise, the rental company will take legal action, both civil and criminal.

The rental company may charge the renter for any towing or storage fees incurred if they repossess the car.
The renter may be denied insurance coverage if they breach the contract.

4. Specifying the car color or year model
If a customer has reserved a car online through the company's website link and has not made a reservation through the company's inbox, the customer cannot specify the car color or car model. Your high expectations may not be met.
If customers are not comfortable with this, they can make online reservations via inbox and chat with the company's admin.
5.Change of car model
In some cases, the company may change the car model that you have already reserved on the day of receiving the car. The reason for the change is due to, for example, the previous customer re-renting the car. The previous customer crashed his car. The car has had an accident or failed a quality inspection, etc. The company will change the car model to a similar or the same model so that you can use it on the day and time the customer picks it up.
6. Differences between booking online and inbox in booking a car.6.1.If the customer reserves a car online Customers can reserve a car by themselves immediately at a time that is convenient for them. If the customer reserves a car through the inbox channel, the reservation must be made during the company's business hours.
6.2.Booking online, the customer must pay the rental amount immediately, but if the customer chooses to reserve through the inbox channel, the deposit can be transferred to 1,000 baht, the remaining amount can be paid on the day of receiving the car.
6.3.For online bookings, customers cannot change the date and time of the vehicle pick-up location. Customers must clearly specify booking information, but if customers make reservations through the inbox channel

6.4.For online bookings The company reserves the right not to refund the rental fee if the customer cancels the reservation in any case. For bookings via inbox, for a deposit of 1,000 baht, the company does not have a policy for transferring money back.
6.5.Customers cannot enter into multiple rental contracts during the same period (one customer cannot rent more than 1 vehicle during the same period). -

Car rental terms and details for renting a self-drive car
1. Qualifications of the tenant.
The renter must be 20 years of age or older and on the date of renting the car. The renter must bring the original documents as follows.

The renter must return the car to the same branch office from which the car was picked up or to the airport. If returning the car to a different branch or other location, there will be an additional service charge. You can ask for prices from the company's sales staff.
5. Electrical energy.
The company delivers the first 100% electric car to the renter on the day the renter returns the car. No need to recharge the electric power. But it must not be lower than 15-20%. If it is lower, the renter will be charged a fine as follows.
- If the battery is below 10%, there will be an appropriate service charge.
- Battery 0% charges a fine of 1,500 baht or more depending on distance.
6. Counting the days of car rental.
Self-drive car rental for 1 day is counted as 24 hours of rental time. When will the renter pick up the car? If the renter returns the car late, there will be a late return penalty calculated per hour. And if returning the car is delayed for more than 4 hours, it will be considered as an additional day of car rental.
7. Refund of deposit.
When the renter has returned the car in normal condition. The company will transfer the deposit back to the renter via the renter's bank account number within 24 hours.
8. Renting more cars.
When the renter wants to rent an additional car from the original rental contract. Let the tenant notify the company at least 6 hours in advance and transfer the additional rent money or to the company, which must be completed before the time in the original rental contract expires. If the tenant does not pay in time The car must be returned to the company immediately. and renew the lease contract
9. Vehicle tracking back.

10.Returning the car before the deadline.
When the renter wants to return the car before the deadline according to the time specified in the car rental contract The renter must notify the company at least 1 day in advance. The renter can return the car before the deadline. But the rent paid will not be returned.
11.End of rental contract.

12.Using a car.
12.1 The renter must use the car for normal business. Do not use it for competition, experimentation, or driving through water or mud, which will cause damage to the vehicle.
12.2 The renter can drive the car without limit on distance. But you must stop periodically when driving long distances.
12.3 Cars are prohibited from being taken out of the Kingdom of Thailand.
12.4 Cars must not be used for transporting illegal substances.
12.5 Cars must not be loaded beyond what is specified in the car manual.
12.6 Smoking is prohibited in the vehicle.
12.7 Pets are prohibited in the vehicle.
12.8 Do not bring smelly items such as durian or fermented fish into the vehicle.
13. Duties of the tenant.
